Abstract: 

Measuring leisure needs is an essential step in planning educational development. Educational needs are one of the educational system's foundations that underlie the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the systems. This study was conducted through survey on a sample of 400 students [200 girls (Farzanegan) and 200 boys (Pishtazan)] from elementary school (fourth and fifth grades), guidance and high school in school year 2013-14. Findings show that students at different educational levels are in dire need of leisure activities. The most important leisure needs of students in the student organization are, respectively, the need for tourism, the need for celebrations, the need for collaborative activities, the need for sports, the need for cultural activities, the need for religion and the arts. For all leisure needs, the status quo is not desirable, and there is a gap between the existing and desired state. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between students’ socio-economic status and their leisure needs. Deprived students need more tourism, sports, participatory, cultural, religious events and celebrations than those belonging to middle and upper classes. The findings also indicate that boys are more in need of tourism, sports and gatherings, celebrations and ceremonies than girls. Girls have a greater need for artistic activities than boys. Implications of the present study emphasize the importance of extracurricular activities for students in the education system. It is important to carry out a comprehensive needs assessment in order to develop a country-wide macro strategy. It is vital to address the disadvantages of leisure programs by focusing on disadvantaged and financially disadvantaged classes, and by educating trained instructors and utilizing the power of capable educators. It is also important to address gender differences in leisure time planning for girls and boys. It is worth noting that in order to meet the leisure needs of students, it is necessary to organize tourism camps, develop and promote sports and literacy skills, formulate promotional reading programs, encourage artistic activities and create diverse artistic associations, create community clubs, vocational clubs, entrepreneurial clubs, and ethics focused on nurturing students' spiritual and moral abilities.

Abstract: 

Introduction: This research is a study for evaluating the rate of satisfaction of physical and psychosocial needs of third grade girl students of secondary school of Arak by their parents.Material and Methods: In this research 556 girl adolescents were studied. Samples were selected by clustering method. Data were collected by questionnaire (contain 57 question) completed by studied units. After collect the data, results were analysed by statistical methods.Results: 69.1% samples were high satisfied, 29.3% medium and 1.6% low satisfied in relation to physical needs by their parents and 69.6% were high satisfied, 28.2% medium and 2.2% low satisfied in relation to psychosocial needs by their parents. The rate of satisfaction for physical needs is statistically correlated to the variable such as age of the students (p<0.05), age of the mother (p=0.03), age of the father (p=0.0001), education levels of the parents (p= 0.0001), job of the father (p=0.0001), job of the mother (p=0.0007), rank of birth (p=0.008) and total children of the family (p=0.0001). Result of the research showed that rates of satisfactions for psychosocial needs of the samples have a meaningful correlation with variables such as age of the student (p= 0.003), education levels of the mother (p=0.0001), job of the parents (p=0.0007) and total children of the family (p=0.0001).Conclusions: Finally the result of this research indicates that families economic discords affect cause an important role against in sufficiency of psychosocial needs in adolescents. Therefore it should be suggested to perform a more developed study about the above subject in order to obtain the most accurate conclusion.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of satisfaction of basic psychological needs in the relationship between teacher interaction and students’ creativity. This study is a path analysis correlational research. The sample of the research included 250 students selected randomly. The participates answered Abedi’ s creativity questionnaire (1984), Deci and Ryan's Basic Psychological Needs questionnaire (2000) and the Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI) (Wubbels, 1993). Reliability (calculated by cronbach alpha) and validity (calculated by factor analysis) of every questionnaire were obtained. The Results showed that four of eight Teacher Interaction’ s types had good fitness. The relationship between leading and uncertain types and creativity with the mediating role of the satisfaction of basic psychological needs was positive and significant and the relationship between understanding and responsibility/freedom types and creativity with the mediating effect of the satisfaction of basic psychological needs was negative and significant. The Results indicated that the satisfaction of basic psychological needs is a mediating variable in the relationship between leading, uncertain, understanding and responsibility/freedom types of teacher interaction and students’ creativity.

Abstract: 

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyzing the Teachers' Views on Schools Student with Special Needs in Order to Provide Policy Advice. Method: The present study was conducted using a qualitative approach with the aim of analyzing the views of school teachers teaching special need Students in East Azerbaijan Province. Data were collected by semi-structured interviews from 16 teachers by targeted sampling method and analyzed by thematic analysis method. Results: The research findings indicated that the views of school teachers on students with special needs can be categorized into four main themes and 18 subthemes. The main topics include issues related to school teachers, students with special needs, characteristics of students with special needs, educational constraints, and socio-cultural issues. Sub-topics are also described in detail in the text of the article. Conclusion: According to the research findings, the measures taken in the field of general education policy have not gone well and the advancement of issues in this field requires the serious attention of the officials.

Abstract: 

The present research conducted through using correlation method and, aims at determining relationship between fundamental needs and social support, and social consistency among boy and girl students. Statistical community of the research includes all high school boy and girl students in zone five in Tabriz.The sample group in the research included 160 students – 80 boys and 80 girls – who selected through available sampling method. Three types of questionnaires – Students' Fundamental Needs, Philips, et.al (1986), Students' consistency questionnaire: Sina and Sing (1993) were the utilized tools. Path analysis indicated that the direct impact of gender on fundamental needs and social consistency has been significant, However, its direct impact on social support is not significant. Indirect impact of gender on social consistency and social support is significant, while the overall impact of gender on fundamental needs is not significant. Director impact of social consistency on social support is significant, but its overall impact is not significant. The results of independent groups' test indicated that there is significant difference between boy and girl students in terms of fundamental needs, social consistency and social support variables.
